いらつしゃいませ!!

In Japan, when you enter a store or a restaurant or a home, the hosts will call out "いらつしゃいませ!"(Ira'shaimase), which means something like "Welcome!" "Come on in!" Which is what I say to you, new and old friends, as I share random thoughts and creations to whomever is interested.

I am so excited about etegami that I am making at least one a day with more ideas cropping up in my head all of the time.

This one is for my niece who just moved into her first house.  I was looking at a beautiful shell thinking this could be the first house for a hermit crab! So here is the card I am sending her. The streaks of shiny paint give it its flow and dimenstion
welcome home etegami
